Ten Days to Repent: The Astonishing Story of David, Avigail & Naval
Hosted By: London School of Jewish Studies (LSJS)

What does the enigmatic biblical narrative have to teach us about cruelty, kindness and forgiveness?
Before he became king of Israel, David faced many challenges, including a very difficult visit to a contemptuous man and his clever wife. It can be found in the 25th chapter of the first book of Samuel. In this subtle and protracted narrative, the sages found the seeds of the tradition to return to God during the days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. This special new lecture will investigate how they came to that conclusion as well as how their thinking can help us to focus for ourselves on our own inward journey.
This event is at 3 PM EST and 8 PM in London.
