The Fritz Ascher Society for Persecuted, Ostracized and Banned Art presents a conversation between Suzanne Loebl and Ori Z Soltes, Co-Founder and Chair of the Holocaust Art Restitution Project. Loebl, who fled Nazi Germany for Belgium in 1938 and survived in hiding, will discuss her most recent book, “Plunder and Survival,” which traces the Nazi obsession with cultural property theft and the winding trajectory of attempts to restore plundered artworks. The event is part of the online series “Flight or Fight: Stories of Artists Under Repression.”
