Silence and Survival: Modern Midrash and Post-Holocaust Jewish Thought

Hosted By: Haberman Institute

The Haberman Institute for Jewish Studies presents a session in its series “Rabbinic Perspectives: Conversations for Our Times” examining post-Holocaust Jewish thought. The program studies modern midrashic responses by contemporary women writers drawn from the collection “Dirshuni: Contemporary Women’s Midrash.” Through discussion and study, participants will reflect on moral and spiritual questions raised by the Shoah while honoring the memory of its victims and survivors.
