The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Education presents a three-part series drawing on Dirshuni, the groundbreaking anthology of contemporary midrash written by Israeli women. Through close readings of biblical texts and modern midrash, participants will encounter voices that challenge assumptions, recover overlooked perspectives, and breathe new emotional and ethical life into familiar stories. The series explores what becomes possible when women fully enter the interpretive tradition.
