Temple Beth El of Boca Raton hosts Shavuot program online. The festival of Shavuot celebrates the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai and encourages us to embrace the Torah’s teachings and be inspired by the wisdom Jewish tradition has to offer. Join us for this dynamic speaker who will lead us in a conversation about applying lessons from the Torah to leadership today. 7:30 pm – Jewish Leadership: Where Have We Been, Where Are We Now, and Where We Are Going – A Conversation with Rabbi Elka Abrahamson, President of the Wexner Foundation Since Abraham and Sarah led “the souls they created in Haran” on their journey to the land of Israel, 8:45 pm – Moses and Level Five Leadership The famed scholar of leadership, entrepreneurship, and business Jim Collins suggests that the most enduring and successful enterprises are led by what he calls “Level Five Leaders”. Led by Temple Beth El’s rabbinic team, together we will explore how Moses’ personal journey to Sinai leads him to grow through Collins’ five levels to be the most transformational leader in history.
