DESCRIPTION:Temple Israel of Boston presents Shabbat Tzedek\, a Sabbath of Justice held annually since 1992 in the weeks surrounding Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Hosted by Temple Israel’s Racial Justice Initiative in partnership with clergy\, the program brings together the congregation and wider community for Shabbat and learning with a guest speaker. This year’s speaker is Rahsaan D. Hall\, president and CEO of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts\, who will speak on civil rights\, equity\, and social justice.
