Series Launch: On the Spectrum

Hosted By: American Jewish University's Whizin Center for Continuing Education

Ahead of the US premiere on HBO Max, join AJU and meet the people behind ON THE SPECTRUM, the breakthrough Israeli drama series that offers a stunning depiction of life with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This series is an audience favorite, having won 9 Israeli TV academy awards and numerous international prizes. Produced by yes TV (the home of “Fauda,” “Shtisel” and the original “Your Honor”) and Sumayoko – coming to AJU courtesy of yes Studios, the series follows three roommates, living together under one roof, all in their late-twenties, each diagnosed with a disorder on the autistic spectrum. Through their unique, surprising and personal perspectives about relationships, family, work, friendship, sex and social conventions, we’ll get to know them and glimpse into their intricate lives.

Join AJU as they welcome series co-creator and series writer, Dana Idisis, and actor Niv Majar, to discuss the production process for this storyline and mark International Autism Awareness Day. In conversation with AJU’s Dr. Rotem Rozental.
