Sephardic Experiences of the Holocaust
Hosted By: Holocaust Museum LA
Holocaust Museum LA presents a lecture series with Professor Sarah Abrevaya Stein on the impact of the Holocaust in the Sephardi communities of southeastern Europe. The program examines the histories of Salonica and Monastir through intimate family stories that illuminate broader patterns of loss and survival. A final lecture explores how World War II and the Holocaust were experienced in North Africa by Jewish refugees and local Muslim and Jewish populations.
