Read and Discuss ‘Blood Libel’

Hosted By: Stephen Wise Free Synagogue

Since the Middle Ages, rumors have swirled that Jews murder non-Jewish children to use their blood in Passover rituals. Join Fordham University’s Judaic studies chair and history professor, Dr. Magda Teter, the author of “Blood Libel: On the Trail of an Antisemitic Myth,” to learn about the history of these false accusations and how they continue to plague the Jewish community to this day. No knowledge of the book is necessary to join the discussion, but we encourage you to read it! Sponsored by the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue Anti-Semitism Task Force.
