Project Nuremberg Online: Keeping Alive the Lessons of the Nuremberg Trials

Join Temple Beth El of Boca Raton’s Project Nuremberg Online and American Friends of Hebrew University (AFHU) for an informative and engaging program featuring best-selling author and University of London Law Professor Philippe Sands. Also joining in the conversation are Hebrew University Dean of Law, Daphna Lewinsohn-Zamir; Dr. Renana Keydar; Hebrew University Professor, Yuval Shany; and Rabbi Jessica Spitalnic Mates. Philippe Sands will discuss how the Holocaust and the Nuremberg Trials laid the foundation for our modern concepts of genocide, war crimes, human rights, and international justice; 21st-century challenges facing a world in conflict; and how legal practice and scholarship continue to effect profound change. Registration Required. The event will take place on Zoom. Tickets are $36 each, and include a copy of Philippe Sands’ book The Ratline: The Exalted Life and Mysterious Death of a Nazi Fugitive. CLE credits will be applied, pending approval.
