Pirkei Avot (Ethics of the Fathers) – The Big Picture
Hosted By: Jewish Study Center
The Jewish Study Center presents a class on Pirkei Avot, the most well-known and most studied portion of the Mishnah and a source of many fundamental Jewish ethical and moral principles. The session explores themes that arise frequently but are often overlooked when the mishnayot are studied one at a time, and touches on Pirkei Avot’s teachings about repentance before Yom Kippur and tikkun olam.
