The Jewish Study Center and Sephardic Heritage International DC present a program examining the Jewish population in the Land of Israel during the 19th century. The session offers a new analysis of the five censuses conducted by philanthropist Sir Moses Montefiore between 1839 and 1875.

Courses regularly apply Jewish tradition to issues of social action, politics, interpersonal relationships, and work.
