The Sanhedrin – the religious and legal leaders of the Jewish people were struggling with many challenges as a result of the destruction of the Second Temple: loss of the religious focus of the Jewish nation, the urgent need to find new ways of worship and national unity, and loss of their natural residence in Jerusalem. We will follow their footsteps in the Galilee, walking from Usha to Shefaram, meeting archaeological sites, natural beauty, and local communities.
