Lights, Camera, Action: The Power of Israeli Film

Hosted By: Z3 Project

This event is part of the Z3 Project: Visions for Shared Future, a full week of exciting opportunities! The full schedule can be viewed on the registration link, and the fee gives access for the entire week!

This conversation will consider modern Israeli cinema today, and why it is receiving worldwide acclaim, with hits like ‘Shtisel’ and ‘Fauda’. During the conversation, the speakers will discuss women in the film industry, privacy in the age of social media, and cultural representations of Haredi Jews. Our viewers will explore Israeli filmmaking in the wider world of cinema, and the unique bridge that the arts, and specifically film, may offer between Israel and the international community.
