Laugh Tracks: A Century of American Jewish Humor
Hosted By: The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program at Case Western Reserve University
The Marx Brothers, Nichols and May, Gilda Radner, Seinfeld, and more. In this class, we will have fun with these, and other, important figures in American Jewish humor. Each week we will look at performances from a different time period, starting in the 1930s and continuing into the 2020s. We will discuss examples from film, television, music, literature and more. The class will involve plenty of clips and lots of laughs.
This event is weekly on Mondays through July 19. There is no registration after the first class.
