SUMMARY:Can You Trust This Photo? Images\, Media\, and the Story of Israel
DESCRIPTION:The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Education presents a session with Simon Plosker of HonestReporting exploring how photographs shape public perceptions of Israel and the Middle East conflict. Through compelling real-world examples\, the session examines how framing\, captions\, cropping\, and missing context can dramatically alter our understanding of events\, in an era of viral content\, AI-generated images\, and endless social media feeds. Participants will analyze some of the most influential images connected to Israel in recent years and gain practical tools for evaluating visual information critically.
