The Mandel Center for Studies in Jewish Education at Brandeis University presents a webinar on the new book “Judaism Mediated: Learning About Jewishness Through the Cultural Arts,” in which authors Laura Yares and Sharon Avni explore how visiting a museum or going to a concert can be a powerful learning experience about Jewishness. Guests Judah M. Cohen of Hebrew Union College, Julie Golding of Touro University, and Vanessa Ochs of the University of Virginia will join the authors in conversation with moderator Professor Ziva Hassenfeld. The book is a product of the Mandel Center’s project Jewish Learning Through the Cultural Arts.
