Journey Into Judaic Art: The Art of Jewish Mosaics

Mosaic art in synagogues has been popular since as early as the first century CE. Jeanette Kuvin Oren will take us on a historical journey over thousands of years of Jewish mosaics. You will “visit” the studios of two mosaic artists: world-renowned mosaic master Stephen Miotto, and Mia Schon, a community-artist in Tel Aviv.

Jeanette Kuvin Oren is an internationally acclaimed Judaic artist who has worked with more than 400 synagogues and organizations across the world. She works in calligraphy, painting, papercutting, fiber art, and mosaic, glass and metal design. You are welcome to join any one, or all of the following:
