Jewish Vienna Memory in Alsergrund

Community Scholar Program will present a walking tour of Vienna’s Alsergrund district, once a center of Jewish life. The program will explore the neighborhood’s history, including sites connected to Jewish families, culture, and memorials to the Holocaust. It will also examine the contributions of figures such as Sigmund Freud and the legacy of Vienna’s Jewish community.
