Jewish Short Story Discussion Group

Hosted By: Temple Ner Tamid

Temple Ner Tamid has been running a weekly Jewish Short Story Group. Attendees join the leader, Norman Pollack, for a weekly discussion on the themes and motifs in a Jewish story. Together, they unpack the meaning of the story, learn a little about the author and connect with others who wish to discuss these stories as Jewish literature. These meetings are not “lectures” but rather, discussion sessions. The group meets each Thursday at 1:00 pm and there is no charge to join the group. If you click on the registration link below, you can register and that will be put on the list to receive the weekly email reminders. Each notification will provide you with the short story title, the author and a link which will enable you to read the story being discussed. The meetings are held through ZOOM.
