Joey is a Jew of Yemeni descent from London, England. He is currently Director of Abroad Experiences for KAHAL Abroad, supporting thousands of young people in connecting with Jewish experiences worldwide when they travel, work or study abroad. As a lay leader in the British community, he runs educational and leadership development programs in the UK, the US and across Europe. The British Jewish community is the fifth largest in the world and has a long and intriguing history. We’ll be exploring what was, what is and what will be, in a community that is constantly looking to balance its traditions with the modern, multicultural reality of the UK today.
