Join Jewish National Fund-USA Israel Cast host Steven Shalowitz and author David Nasaw for a live Q&A session about his book, “The Last Million: Europe’s Displaced Persons from World War to Cold War.” After Germany surrendered in WWII, they left behind millions of refugees that needed to find new homes. But even after exhaustive efforts by the allies, 1 million refugees of varying backgrounds were left behind. In The Last Million, acclaimed historian David Nasaw takes readers on a journey throughout the world, as these million refugees scattered to all corners of the globe, taking with them the horrors of the past and hope for the future.
