Join a discussion with Professor Marc Michael Epstein and Dr. Amy Jill Levine about her new book, focusing on what non-Christians can learn from Jesus based on existing sources. The conversation will explore how a knowledge of the first-century Jewish context in the Land of Israel can illuminate Jesus’ views on topics such as economics, slavery, ethnicity, race, health care, family values, and politics. The program will also examine what those claiming to speak in the name of Jesus get right and wrong.
