Israel in a Changing Middle East: Opportunities and Risks
Hosted By: The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program at Case Western Reserve University
This course will explore Israel’s relations with the region’s Arab states and the Palestinians as set within an increasingly charged and dynamic geopolitical landscape. We will examine continuities and discontinuities involving Russia, Turkey, Iran, and the US, and will challenge ourselves with the different Israeli visions of peace and security as they are reflected in—and impacted by—domestic Israeli politics.
Course runs weekly through July 1. No registration after first date.
