DESCRIPTION:Master Mah Jongg: A Beginner’s Intro to the Beloved Game \n4 Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. ET\nMay 13 – June 3 \nAll classes will be recorded and sent to registrants. \nReady to jump in and learn the game that American Jews have loved for decades? Good — because it’s not just your bubbe’s game anymore! \nLearn the basics of mah jongg from two of the best teachers in the country: Dara Collins and Donna Kassman\, the founders of Modern Mahjong\, who have taught beginners and advanced players for years. \nAfter these four hour-long online sessions\, you’ll have a solid foundational knowledge of the game. You can review recordings of the lessons for a month after the final class session ends\, too\, to sharpen your skills. \nSo pull up a chair\, bring all of your questions (and your friends)\, and let’s learn how to play mah jongg this summer! \nAlthough your teachers recommend investing in a mah jongg tile set\, you do not need one for this course. You can learn with paper cutouts to start with. \n
