Intro to Jewish Spirituality with Rabbi Danielle Upbin
Hosted By: My Jewish Learning
Join My Jewish Learning’s Teacher of the Year for a special live and recorded spirituality class for beginners and experts alike.
What does “Jewish spirituality” mean, and how can we integrate it into our daily lives, filling it with new richness and peace?
This four-part online series invites participants into an exploration of spirituality through the lenses of breath, embodiment, sacred awareness and prayer. Each hour-long session combines text, reflection, discussion, gentle experiential practice and a closing meditation.
Some of the questions we will explore include:
- What does Judaism teach about breath as sacred?
- What is the relationship between spirituality and the body?
- How do Jewish traditions speak about divine presence?
- How can prayer become an authentic personal practice?
Bring your curiosity, your questions and your openness to experience Jewish spirituality through a new lens on ancient practices.
