Biblical Hebrew differs from modern Hebrew, which is spoken in contemporary Israel, in small but important ways. By the end of this six-week course, you will be able to start reading and understanding simple Hebrew sentences in the Bible.
And if you want to go on to learn modern Hebrew, you will have learned the perfect foundation.
Students must be at least familiar with the Hebrew alphabet at the start of this course. You’ll learn to apply the alphabet to building vocabulary for Torah study, and you’ll sharpen your Hebrew reading skills.
