The Online Jewish Travel Club presents a warm two-part online journey exploring how autumn Jewish holidays were lived and loved, from the small homes of the Eastern European shtetl to the sun-drenched courtyards of Central Asia and the mountain villages of the Caucasus. Filled with old photographs, personal stories, and lesser-known details, the sessions show how the same holidays looked different across communities and what customs were preserved. Participants will learn how children participated in the celebrations and what practices, taken for granted now, were nearly impossible back then.
