How is Fat Liberation a Jewish Social Justice Issue?

Join this 20-Minute webinar with Rabbi Minna Bromberg, PhD and Emily Goodstein.

Weight stigma causes discrimination against the largest among us (in education, healthcare, employment, and beyond). It’s also damaging to the mental health of people of all sizes. At Fat Torah, we believe in this simple truth: All human beings are created in the image of the Divine—each of us unique and of infinite worth—no matter our size. As Jews, we are called upon to create a world which reflects this truth. This includes making our own Jewish communal spaces more inclusive of bodies of all sizes, as well as using our moral voice for change-making on every level. Come and learn how you can contribute to the liberation of all bodies (including your own)!

Can’t make it? Not to worry. We’ll be recording and everyone who registers will get a link to the recording.
