Hope, Gratitude, and Faith
Hosted By: My Jewish Learning, Kveller, UJA-Federation of New York
We are pleased to invite you to join Dr. Erica Brown for a session that braids personal reflections with Jewish texts to address themes of faith, unity, pain, and hope. Her work offers a profound perspective and serves as a meaningful response to the global rise of antisemitism and the complex challenges we are facing today. Erica touches upon what it is like to have feet in the diaspora and a heart in Israel and the dissonances that love at a distance can create.
About our speaker: Dr. Erica Brown is the Vice Provost for Values and Leadership at Yeshiva University and the founding Director of its Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks-Herenstein Center for Values and Leadership. She has written over a dozen books on leadership, spirituality and the Hebrew Bible. Her forthcoming book is Samson and the Enigma of Strength (Oxford University Press).
This event is the next in a series of events geared toward helping you build resilience and connection in this moment, brought to you by My Jewish Learning and Kveller, with the support of UJA-Federation of New York.
