Holocaust Restitution: The Struggle Continues
Hosted By: The Olga Lengyel Institute for Holocaust Studies and Human Rights (TOLI)

For the past 75 years, Holocaust survivors and their descendants have fought to reclaim stolen property, art, and narratives. The struggle for restitution continues today.
Join TOLI for an important discussion with Menachem Kaiser, author of “Plunder: A Memoir of Family Property and Nazi Treasure,” on his quest to reclaim his grandfather’s apartment building in Poland, and the family history he learns along the way.
Gideon Taylor, Chair of Operations, World Jewish Restitution Organization (WJRO) and President of the Board of Directors of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany (Claims Conference), will provide an overview and update on restitution issues today.
The panel will be moderated by Andrew Silow-Carroll, Editor in Chief, New York Jewish Week and Senior Editor, Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
