HerTorah: What’s To Come? Rethinking Disability In Community
Hosted By: SVIVAH

During this pandemic, all of us have experienced some element of exclusion from some spaces as well as new, radical inclusion and welcoming from other spaces. How can our increased sensitivity to exclusion and inclusion help us re-imagine what disability and belonging could look like in the Jewish community?
Join us in learning with Rabbanit Devorah Zlochower, who speaks from personal experience about re-working our community values when thinking about “inclusion”. Pamela Schuller, internationally known disability and mental health advocate, professional stand-up comedian, one of The Jewish Week “36 Under 36”, and the worst diagnosed case of Tourette Syndrome in the country, will share her story and her vision for an ideal community. We will have a chance to learn together, ask hard questions, and explore a vision of the community we want to build together.
HerTorah is geared towards women 12+ and learners of all levels.
