SUMMARY:Hannah's Story: Spiritual Preparation for the Days of Awe
DESCRIPTION:A Tree with Roots presents a deep dive into the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel\, chapters 1–2\, linked with Rosh Hashanah since the days of the Talmud and assigned as the morning’s Haftarah. The session explores the passage’s context and meaning in midrash and commentaries both ancient and modern\, asking why the Rabbis chose it for Rosh Hashanah and in what ways Hannah is a role model. The session considers how the story can elevate spiritual awareness at the most powerful season of the year.
