From October 7 to Simchat Torah: How Can We Face It Again?

In preparation for the High Holy Days, Joanne Greenaway, CEO of LSJS, and Dr. Yosefa (Fogel) Wruble, Matan graduate, lecturer, and podcaster, will discuss how to find meaning in Simchat Torah following the tragedies of the past year. They will explore the first anniversary of last year’s attacks on the Jewish calendar and how to find “simcha” in Simchat Torah. Using the Machzor and Tanach, they will offer new approaches to traditional texts and share their personal experiences and hopes for the future.
