Food, Faith & Fusion
Hosted By: London School of Jewish Studies (LSJS)
The London School of Jewish Studies presents a course examining how Jewish cuisine has shaped identity across time and place. The sessions explore whether there is a uniquely Jewish food, what ancestral cooking reveals about migration and resilience, and how food both reflects and shapes Jewish life. Through paired case studies, the course traces culinary history from the ancient world to contemporary Israel, where diverse traditions have fused into new expressions of Jewish continuity.
