Film Screening: An Edited Life with Q&A

Hosted By: Stephen Wise Free Synagogue

At 79-years old, former film editor Jocelyne Bourgeois is goaded, coaxed, challenged by Mathieu Faure, her persistent filmmaker grandson, to face her true identity — because it is his story, too. They embark together to the places she has avoided since WWII, putting back the scenes she edited out. Facing this deleted past is painful, but a life-changing gift for both of them.

This Yom HaShoah, join Rabbi Natov in conversation with Gold Medal Student Academy Award-winning “An Edited Life” Director, Producer, Cinematographer, and Editor Matthieu Faure.
