This session, hosted by the Haberman Institute for Jewish Studies, will explore adult Jewish education as a vital tool for building resilience, fostering unity, and enriching a diverse Jewish community. The executive director will lead an informal discussion on texts from the Christian New Testament, the Talmud, and the Dead Sea Scrolls, examining their historical context and relevance to contemporary dilemmas. Participants will engage in a conversation comparing the teachings of Jesus with those of Hillel, Shammai, and the Dead Sea Scroll authors.
