DESCRIPTION:Kabbalah Experience explores the tension between free will and determinism through the lens of Leonard Cohen’s view that our sense of choice is largely an illusion\, a position echoed by many neuroscientists. In contrast\, Kabbalah teaches that the soul’s self-aware consciousness offers the capacity to break free from what seems determined by nature and nurture. Drawing on Edith Eger’s book “The Choice\,” the session considers how bold\, unpredictable decisions can become a path for spiritual growth.
