Divided We Fall: Antisemitism and Democracy in Crisis

Moment Magazine presents a roundtable discussion on how American democracy is being tested in unprecedented ways as antisemitism from both the right and left courses through society. Moment Institute Fellows Tom Gjelten, Dr. Sharon S. Nazarian, Ira N. Forman, and Eric K. Ward will examine whether antisemitism is a harbinger of democratic decline or its result, and how the weaponization of antisemitism, the breakdown of the Black–Jewish coalition, and the rise of Christian nationalism are dividing the nation by race and religion. They will also offer ideas to reverse these trends, restore safety and security for Jews, and strengthen freedom of religion for all, in conversation with Moment Institute founder Nadine Epstein.
