Discovering Jewish Life Along the Adriatic: Croatia and Montenegro

Hosted By: Online Jewish Travel Club

The Online Jewish Travel Club presents a virtual journey to the sun-drenched shores of Croatia and Montenegro, uncovering a deeply captivating Jewish narrative from ancient Roman roots to vibrant local communities today. Highlights include Europe’s second-oldest active synagogue in Dubrovnik, a 16th-century sanctuary built inside a Roman Emperor’s palace in Split, a thousand years of Ashkenazi life in Zagreb, and the final mysterious years of Sabbatai Zevi in Ulcinj. The session includes local recipes, musical traditions, and a live Q&A, with full recordings available for all registrants.
