Join the Sousa Mendes Foundation for a celebration of a heroic figure, Fredy Hirsch, who died in the Holocaust fighting for the betterment of others. Fredy was a revered Jewish sportsman and youth leader who brightened the lives of children at Theresienstadt and Auschwitz. Using rare photographs, archival footage, the testimonies of survivors, and animation, the film “Dear Fredy” honors a Jew who saved other Jews.
