The mem­oir “Home is a Stranger” is about Parnaz Foroutan’s jour­ney back to Iran as a young woman two decades after her fam­i­ly fled the rise of the Islam­ic theocracy. It is a book about the meaning of desire, the transcendence of boundaries, and the journey to find home.

Foroutan will discuss her book and answer questions.
