Join the BZD as we tour the Ayalon Institute Museum. Ayalon Institute, aka The Bullet Factory, tells the fascinating story of an underground factory built during the British Mandate, before the State of Israel was established, to secretly manufacture ammunition to help the Jewish Yishuv win the upcoming Independence War. The tour shares stories of the people who worked in the factory, how everything was kept secret and what giraffes and lipsticks have to do with it, and the impact of it all on the establishment of the State of Israel.
