The Center for Jewish History presents a conversation with celebrated investor, philanthropist, and author Michael Moritz on his newly released memoir “Ausländer: One Family’s Story of Escape and Exile,” which traces his parents’ escape from Nazi Germany and his own enduring sense of being an outsider even after achieving extraordinary success in Silicon Valley. Moritz began the project after uncovering the stories of relatives murdered during the Holocaust while sorting through family papers after his mother’s death.
