Artist Bonnie Melzer’s “Mending the Social Fabric”

Hosted By: JCC Mizel Arts and Culture Center

Making an artwork with a 20’ wide WWII parachute, a friend’s inherited collection of antique handkerchiefs, and bits of fabric from around the world was challenging. Making one that tells the stories of the last two years is no mean feat.

Hear the stories Bonnie Meltzer tells about building her interactive exhibition Tikkun Olam – Mending the Social Fabric with questions from Rachel Seiger (Jewish Community Center Denver), Eli West (PortlandTextile Month) and the virtual audience.
