Animals as Kabbalistic Masters

Hosted By: Valley Beit Midrash

Valley Beit Midrash presents a session examining the rare but intriguing ways animals appear in kabbalistic texts, where they are usually invoked only to teach humans how to be better humans. Some anonymous kabbalists, however, saw a deeper bond between humans and animals, even telling stories in which animals revealed kabbalistic secrets. The program considers what these ideas might offer today as we think about animals, humanity and a shared future.
