Ancient Echoes, Modern Verse
Hosted By: Orange County Jewish Community Scholar Program ("CSP")
Community Scholar Program presents an immersive session with Dr. Eve Grubin exploring the dialogue between contemporary poetry and ancient Jewish tradition. Through the works of poets such as Marie Howe, Yehoshua November, Lucille Clifton, Dan Pagis, and Sharon Olds, the program examines how modern voices engage classical texts. The session highlights how the language and ideas of Torah, Talmud, and traditional commentaries are reimagined in today’s poetry.
