Albert Einstein, The Reluctant Jew
Hosted By: Orange County Jewish Community Scholar Program ("CSP")

Please join us for an examination of Albert Einstein’s life through his wrestling with his Jewish identity. Through early adulthood, Einstein actively denied his Jewish identity, but then in the early 1930s in Germany he suddenly started giving talks to Jewish organizations using the pronouns “we” and “us.” What led to Einstein’s sudden embrace of his Jewishness?
