A Virtual Walking Tour of Riga
Hosted By: Qesher
Qesher will host a virtual walking tour of Riga, Latvia’s capital, known as the “Paris of the North” and an architectural gem with gothic, renaissance, baroque, and Art Nouveau buildings. The Jewish history of Riga dates back to the 13th century, with significant economic contributions beginning in the 15th century, and by the late 1920s, Riga became the center of the global Lubavitch movement. This tour will explore the city’s rich cultural heritage, including its designation as a UNESCO Heritage site in 1997.
