Born into a Jewish family in Tripoli\, he fled to Italy after the 1967 pogroms\, later becoming a Jungian analyst dedicated to healing trans-generational trauma. In returning to Libya\, he uncovered the destruction of the Jewish cemetery\, rescued his aunt—the last Jew in Libya—and continues to preserve the heritage\, culture\, and history of Libyan Jewry.
